Our community plays an important role in the selection process. The New Minister Selection Committee has identified and vetted our Candidate. Rev. Kathy Beasley has been invited to audition for our Center on a Sunday morning, with evaluations from our community who are present. The New Minister Selection Committee and Board of Trustees then choose the candidate, and our membership votes to approve.

Rev. Kathy Beasley

Leader – Author – Motivator – Teacher – Thinker – Theologian – Innovator

Rev. Kathy employs a passionate perspective of utilizing the unconventionality of technology to reach beyond the traditional and social aspects of “church” to include those who could benefit from a positive and practical spiritual message regardless of their geography, economics, politics or spiritual background. Her hope she says is: “To help people discover a new way to become community to one another in such a way that it reinvents the idea of what it means to be church in a time such as this”.

Kathy’s work in the world is as a Senior Manager of IT Service & Support for a national faith-based healthcare organization. She is a sought-after speaker, workshop presenter and organizational vitality consultant. She makes her home in Orlando, FL and shares her life with her spouse; Dr. Sakile Camara of Los Angeles, CA and their dog Shanti.

Her current labor of love is the development of a podcast, blog and social media project called Sunday Morning Vibe, that is set to launch in Spring 2019. Kathy is a contributing author on: Communication Training & Development – Exploring the Cutting Edge and A Field Guide to Internships; An Interactive Resource for Discovering Your Career. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, a Master of Arts in Organizational Management, multiple technical certifications and has studied Pastoral Theology and Emerging Ministry at the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA. She is a 2018 graduate from the Unity Urban Ministerial School and licensed as a Unity Minister.
